Bunion

Hi HV,

I start to develop a bunion by my right toe. It's not very painful yet but it does stick out more than my left side and it feels like there is a small inflammation (not sure it's the right term but it has the feeling that something is swelling) inside. Also, there is some numbness on the right toe, more closer to the outside where the callus is. The callus is thicker on the right toe too. At first, I thought the feeling of numbness was related to the callus but now, I think that I might have damaged the nerve on that toe.

I usually do not wear high heel and pointed shoes.

1. What cause the bunion? What is the material that is growing inside?
2. Is there a way to take care/get rid of itor at least prevent it from growing bigger?
3. Do you think that I might have damaged a nerve of my right big toe? Is there any way to repair it?

Your input is very much appreciated,

LongNhi
