You cannot demand love and even if you do, it will not be true love.  Demanding to be loved leads only to arrogance and you do deserve to be treated right and if the joker does not love you, then show him the door, but you cannot demand that he do what you want when you want.

Love should come natural and easy.  Demanding anyone love you is both unnatural and not possible.  If you demand over and over to your spouse that he or she loves you, they may lie.
