Lumicidals are generally used during or after treating with a primary drug such as Nita or Metro - Nita is a newer class drug that can kill off a number of organisms - Metro was touted as the gold standard of anti protozoal drugs but some organisms show resistance to it - it also has more side effects than Nita - if you use Metro, better to use Tinindazole or Secnidazole -
