all those questions are right on the spot - I wonder often too, how they can fit in there between the skull-bone and the hair/scalp because they feel large and yes, they are moving

I am not a 100 % sure but could be dirofilaria immitis, they also wrap around the ears, but then they are everywhere in the body - head/face, arms, legs, torso, everywhere

I would be so appreciative if someone what these are - sometimes they feel like tapeworms, sometimes they feel like thin round worms, that's why I think it is dirofilaria immitis, they have many larvae stages and someone told me they can get very large and very long
