Hey I think you should slowly lean yourself off the carbs. Go from rice to brown rice to quinoa and buckwheat. Stay below 40 grams daily for a while and then cut them out fully. This way you do not do not deprive your body of glucose instantaneously but rather do it gradually where your body does not go harsh on the adrenals. If you stop the carbs intantly your adrenals will become the main source of energy aside from the fat that your body breaks down to produce fuel. That will not be good for already critical adrenals. I had this problem for a long time, and it caused me to give up on the no carb diet. The no carb diet is absolutely essential to beating candida. This means absolutely no sugar. I experimented with the diet for years, and now finally getting it right at zero carbs. My body can now handle it. Trust me when your body adjusts to it you won't feel the affects as much. And coconut oil is great for energy when carbs are not there. So you can also gradually increase the coconut oil. I am currently taking about 4 tablespoons, but that's only because I have reduced the candida colonies enough not to feel the die off. Everyone is different though....but in my opinion you need to stick to zero carbs until you have reduced this beast substantially.
