Re: Timing of Pregnenolone supplementation?
Personally, I don't think there's any timing, per se, with respect to supplementing pregnenolone in the course of AF. As for, time of day, I think it's recommended to take it in the morning to mimic the body's natural levels (which are higher in the morning). But, some here are taking it throughout the day in divided doses. You'll have to figure out what works for you.
Does it tax the adrenals? Pregnenolone is cholesterol minus a methyl group. It is the main raw material for the adrenals from which all hormones are made. In theory, I don't think it taxes the adrenals. They would only use it if they can, i.e. if they have all the other ingredients, too.
But, you will definitely have to figure out what works best for you. Starting slow and working your way *through it* (not necessarily *up*) is probably a good idea. I have done a decent amount of research on it, and it seems there's no way to predict how one body will react to it vs. another. Some people buy tablets and split them so they can start out with dosages as low as 2.5mg.
Google it for a list of side effects. Your mileage will most certainly vary. ;)
