Safe to chelate with tattoos?

Just curious if anyone here knows any truth to the mercury/tattoo stuff. I plan to get my fillings removed early 2012, and Ive seen a good amount of info regarding heavy metals in tattoo inks...But, from what Ive seen, supposedly only red ink contains trace mercury. I have lots of ink on my body, but fortunately none of it is color, and all of its black. If you were in my shoes, would you go ahead with the chelation when the time comes? Thanks in advance.
