I am on year 26 of life without my gallbladder. I suffer daily with diarrhea that has consumed my life. When I was younger, I could work around it, but not any more. I have had some times when I would go back to normal, only to get my hopes up for a few days and to be shot down when the diarrhea returned. I had my most recent recovery where I realized it wasn't the cocoa I had been eating, but was the week before my period... my symptoms disappeared, but as soon as I started my period, the diarrhea made up for lost time and I spent a day near the bathroom. When I was pregnant, the diarrhea disappeared... I sort of figured it was a fail-safe in expectant mothers, keeping the baby safe... OK, I would like to know what I could do to make my body retain water like I was pregnant. I'd rather be bloated than crapping all the time. Any suggestions?
