I am researching exactly the same thing. Avoid metal as you may have allergy towards it. Zirconium is the better option. I have just found out that I am extremely allergic to nickel and that is what I have had in my head for 16 yrs. Looking forward to getting it removed!Just hope I can fine a dentist who uses zirconium.
