Cold hands and feet

Hey guys,

Wondering if any of you might be able to help me out a bit here. About a year ago, I was advised by a doctor, rightly or wrongly, to take dessicated thyroid medication. I think it was too much as I was having hyper symptoms at first, so then I lowered the dosage. To make a long story short, I stopped the des, thyroid after about a month, and almost immediately after stopping (possibly even before stopping) my extremities began feeling cold, primarily my feet. I also noticed that my hair felt very rough.

Right now my cortisol is very high throughout the day.(took isocort to try and get my cort higher to help with thyroid med) I just got it tested about a month ago, unfortunately I don't have the numbers with me.
I've also found that my feet feel coldest etc...about 30-45 min immediately after waking up in the morning. Usually at night time, it's not so bad.

I am trying to lower my cortisol by taking PS and zinc, which does seem to help, although not consistently.

So I guess my main question is: Could I have screwed up something by taking the dessicated thyroid. Does the thyroid have some sort of feedback loop.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Thank you!
