Do clay baths work, or are they dangerous for kids??

There are so many websites claiming that pure food grade Bentonite clay baths will detox heavy metals in children safely and help autism (I'm aware that all clay is not equal and some even has metals in it like lead).

I have gotten some feedback in a forum that this is not true and can actually move the metals around and cause more damage. Now I'm scared to put my kid in a clay bath!

Can someone please weigh in on this protocol, and if it worked for your child?

I need something safe that I can administer to a two year old. Here is the site that I was thinking of purchasing from:

Thanks for any feedback - Anna
