my first use of Iodine on facial skin thingee

I put Lugol's 5% on this area for about 10 days, then it almost scabbed over, and got stiff and I got a little nervous, now it is peeling.

The mole is still there but perhaps smaller and the two darker spots that I was also treating is yet to be determined as I can't tell until the peeling is done.

is this what happened for others????
