Re: Chlorella caused foul body smell
I haven't tried chlorella, but another blue-green algae, quite a while ago.
In my opinion, some foods do cause an odor...such as garlic. I notice the smell of garlic from my urine when I have eaten it, although it doesn't seem too strong, to me.
They say that eating parsley remedies that.
However, people who are detoxing with small clay/charcoal packs and poultices and the like do seem to say things like, "keep applying fresh packs until the old ones stop smelling bad."
I have even read the comment that people intentionally place packs over particular organs which may be giving them difficulty.
Isn't it amazing that we have the capability of detoxing that way?
Try detoxing packs when you have some time to yourself, and read all you can.
I don't think two weeks is quite long enough to be sure. I would go at least a month, and perhaps longer, to be sure it is the chlorella and not your own toxins that are causing this.
Meanwhile, try lots of fresh parsley with your meals.
Oddly, I've read that our diets determine our usual body smells...that we North Americans smell of beef and milk, to Asians.
I mentioned that to a lady from Taiwan. She dismissed the subject with the comment that she had "gotten used" to that long ago. So, it is true!
Asians usually eat lots of cabbage and vegetable broths, I believe.
Also, the sweetest perfume is attar of roses, to me. Vanilla, and things like lemon peel, and fresh ginger root are also very nice. I put a little of the last two in my every salad. I put them in the food processer with my cucumber, celery, or cauliflower, before I add the greens for a quick pulse chop.
I hope this helps...and soon.
My best,
