One quick note on this that I learned from a dermatologist is that actinic cheilitis appears ONLY on the bottom lip. So, if you have dryness and peeling on both the top and bottom lips, it is not actinic cheilitis. If it is not AC and rather EC, be happy. AC is precancerous and not at all a desirable disease.
