Question about Spring Water

I wonder if someone could answer this question for me about the spring water to use for the water kefir. I just went to walmart and bought a gallon of 'great value' spring water. After buying it I started having second thoughts about whether it is ok. I seem to remember someone saying that they can call it spring water even if it really is not. I want to be sure to use the right thing.
