mold in lungs

I am having a rough day today. I got preliminary results from a fungal sputum test last week which said that there was a mold found, but needs to be identified. I have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for that to be completed--which means another 2 to 4 weeks. The doctor that did the testing didn't know what that meant, or what to do even (infectious disease specialist). She didn't seem very competent, and way too busy.

So I went to another doctor today, a holistic, integrative practice. It seems there isn't much that can be done until the results are back and they know what kind it was, and what it is sensitive to. They gave me the kit to do a stool test, and ran some vitamin D and B12 tests on me.

So meanwhile, I just wait. And wait. It is tough. Sorry to gripe on here, I know many of you have been through far worse things. I'm just having a tough day today. Coughing up lots of colored mucus, wheezing, shortness of breath, gets to you when you aren't used to it. Just ready for this all to be over.

Again, sorry for griping, complaining today. Just been a tough day and sometimes it feels good to write it out a bit.
