I guess the confusion for me is that I consider belief and faith as two different things.
For a christian, wouldn't Belief be when we find Truth in Christ, and Faith is when we Trust in Christ?
So if we change the wording some on Bill's statement....don't we get this statement?
Trust comes through resting in him not through striving to Truth. Rest (not striving in truth) in the knowledge of who he is.
Seems like that is what it is saying, in my way of understanding it.
