Re: Results from hair analysis test
Thanks for your prompt follow-up reply.
I have actually been taking ALA (and now RALA) for the past 6 weeks or so, but will have to look into combining with DMSA.
I would have hoped that the high mercury levels would help to explain my chronic fatigue and IBS, however if you believe that the result of 1.06 isn't *that* high, perhaps I'm no further to finding the cause after all. I'm actually having another hair analysis test conducted by a different lab, so it will be interesting to see if the results vary a great deal.
Regarding uranium, I've lived in Japan since 2003. I eat steamed salmon every day, however it's typically Norwegian or Chilean. Yesterday, I picked-up a tray of fish caught in the waters of Hokaido (the north island of Japan)...then put it back - I'm perhaps less paranoid about the nuclear fall-out than most, however we cannot be too careful.
Do you have any thoughts about the high idodine or low chromium/iron/manganese? Also, would further supplementing with zinc to reduce copper levels not increase the zinc level?
Thanks again!
