If you do a little research on multiple myeloma you will find that it is a strange affliction.  The Multiple Myeloma Foundation calls it blood cancer, the Mayo Clinic calls it blood cancer, but my oncologist at a nationally respected clinic says "It is not cancer."  It is listed on Hulda Clark's death certificate as a "contributing factor" and without contesting anything around that - it has been a little known condition for many years but is getting more and more attention.  It affects men more than women by about four to one, and affects black men more than whites.  The reason it has received so little attention is that there are few who get it so the pharmaceuticals can't make their usual huge profits by researching it.  In everything that I've found there are no cancer cells.  Zero!  It is where "normal" marrow produces abnormally high - or low, blood cell counts.  That's why you don't die within six months like "normal" bone marrow cancer or leukemia.  That said I have found that one treatment for reversal is mentioned at some sites and that is chemotherapy.  But because the majority of folks that this hits are over sixty five, suspect that's not an option as for as many younger cancer patients so it doesn't get as much press.  (Won't even begin to get into the chemo argument, it's not one of my options.)
