Re: Question--Is this candida?
Being overly mucus-ey and congested in general, especially after
Antibiotics , is a pretty solid symptom of candida. There is no way to really test for sure, but I would say based on my experience and your
Antibiotic use that candida is at least part of your problem. Excessive mucus and sinus problems were one of two symptoms I had in the beginning that something was wrong, and three years later my condition had gotten 100x worse. My other early symptom was loose/fast bowel movements.
I would recommend trying to supplement with the enzyme bromelain (mucus thinner) and ACV, and see how that affects you. You can also start doing some detox using a sauna, water fasts, etc. Water fasting, even for a day or two, does wonders to clear mucus out. You should also continue with the vitamin C (5-10g/day), kefir (as much as you want), raw garlic and liver cleanses. Ultimately, though, detox is the only thing that will cure you.
Also, what are your bowel movements like? If they are abnormal I would recommend trying Candex to see how it affects you.
Finally, there is no reason to pay a doctor to get rid of candida, IMO. The only way to get rid of it is through proper detox, and all the information you need to do that is online. Where it gets complex is with mercury poisoning, but the Cutler protocol has helped many in that realm.
