"Iodine mobilizes mercury. It increase excretion on the bindig sites of iodine." - So Iodine increases excretion of mercury, then? In that case, it sounds like a good thing.

"Selenium binds with mercury and passivates it." - What's that mean? Makes it passive? As in, not harmful? Or as in it won't move? Or what exactly?

I'm holding off on using ALA for now. I don't want to risk putting mercury in my brain while it's in my body besides my brain.
