Re: My chelation attempt

Hi Sam, problem #3 is where I feel I went wrong. I had my fillings removed in early March of this year. I waited a good 5 months before taking ALA as Cutler says. Bad mistake. I didn't take into account the body burden situation. If for example you have lead or other metals that DMPS won't remove then your stuck with DMSA. Some doctor's say DMPS removes lead, but not as effectively as DMSA. Cutler has stated that DMPS won't remove any lead. I believe what Cutler says. DMPS is highly effective for mercury and arsenic, but not the lead issue which effects me with mercury. I would rather use a chelator like DMPS/DMSA first to remove or clear the body burden out first after a year or longer, then use ALA with DMSA/DMPS to clear the remaining HM's from my brain. ALA is the cure to HM's. When you don't know how much of a body burden you have which can be tricky because the body's organs can hang on to HM's for sometime, even when the blood has cleared and it's difficult to tell if this process has taken effect. Cutler states that you should wait 3 months before using ALA, but it's still a gamble when you don't know whether the body burden has cleared to some degree to allow you to use ALA. I would still use a chelator to clear the body burden first before even attempting ALA on it's own. Cutler dose prefer you using a chelator like DMSA to remove the body burden as a precaution, just to be safe in the long run. I know what you mean Sam. It's difficult situation for all of us traveling down this lonely road, trying to recover our screwed up health. I'm taking very low doses of DMSA to begin with. I need to start off very small to see how my sensitive body reacts. 2mg's of DMSA is what I'm using at the moment. And you can feel it even at 2mg's working. C
