Re: Sum-up of last 6 months. What I think now.
A prime example of killer remedy for couple days and then nothing is when I started kefir. After couple weeks had a massive die off with a capital M. I discontinued use after a few months as making kefir and shuffling inventory became more trouble than it was worth. Simply put, I felt no benefit whatsoever.
I now eat foods that may contain simple sugars like (certain) so called energy bars, potato chips, plenty of fruit, etc but have eliminated all deserts, coffee, candies and especially ice cream.
Sugar was killing me for obvious reasons. I use coconut oil which I luv as a cornerstone to help keep candida on the quiet side. For example, I eat the whole pot of pop corn every night that I pop in 3 tblsp of coc oil and embellish with plenty of hymalayan
Sea Salt . It is my favorite snack ever.
I have had fungal candida for more yrs than I want to remember. I have maintained a vitamin program that has expanded over the yrs to now include such things as hendel sole, probiotics, oil pulling and whatever. I truly believe that sauerkraut that I have been eating now with each meal is of great benefit to overall health and may be having an impact on fungus.
I have my share of candida related health problems but the weird thing is that I haven't had a cold or flu related illnesses in many yrs. I can only assume that in some respects my immune system is strong because of my health programs but very weak in others as a result of candida.
I just finished the mccombs plan a few months ago and I still have brain fog etc but not like I use to, not because of the plan as much as the elimination of candy and ice cream. So I'm eating what might be considered junk foods with a lower case j. That will be my approach til I have more confidence in a plan that will kill candia in its entirety.
