...the scab appears to be built from the bottom up..
particles endlessly arriving in the blood and sticking to the bottom, pushing the older layers up into increasingly
chaotic piles of "plastic" bricks and "sheets".

There appears to be some "critical mass" of "plastic goo"
that once achieved, triggers aggressive fiber growth.
This makes sense if the theory that the gels are actually
an alternative cellular energy [ACE] source for the
fibers is the way this "system" actually operates.

I have noted over the last two years, that the most
extensive/large/long/ fibers tends to occur where there
is the most colored gels. [usually red and yellow gels.]
