Re: Need advice on badly cut finger

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I did pack it with cayenne about 12:30 but it continued to throb and burn that I took off the band-aid about 20 minutes ago thinking I could perhaps use slippery elm instead. Well as soon as I wiped off the cayenne the blood started flowing as bad as it was at first. Guess I learned my lesson! I put cayenne all over it again and got a band-aid on it real tight but with just the cayenne it never seemed to stop bleeding. It did not stop really until the band-aid was on applying pressure. I am basically just putting cayenne on top of the wound is that right?

I tried to add slippery elm on top of the cayenne but it did not stick. Just want to make sure I am doing this right. It is burning pretty intensely. Weirdly enough it is burning on my nail bed when the wound is on the other side of my finger

I also took some white willow bark and some more cayenne tincture to see if that would help.
