Re: can I do flush if I have gallbladder issues?
You have been given two drugs omeprazole and fluconazole both of which can cause diarrhoea. The yellow stools are an indication that food is moving through the intestines too quickly.
The omeprazole is to reduce the acidity of the stomach and is usually prescribed for a couple of weeks to sooth pain caused by an acid stomach and stomach ulcer; the later usually with a blood or stool sample test to detect Helicobacter pylori which is the bug that causes an ulcer.
The fluconazole is to treat the fungus infection.
Wait until you have finished the drugs and the ultra sound before flushing. There is no need to ruin the diagnostic work of your doctor. The doctor may also order more blood test and unfortunately the
Liver Flush upset the liver function test.
Try and suffer the pain. I know what it is like.
Two weeks after coming of the meds and the doctor has finished his test you can flush. But read you need to have good kidney function to take the Epsom salt, be hydrated and yes do some preparation if you can.
