Like I said it's not the be all end all but it definitely has helped over the long term and there are enough research studies to prove it . Anything that helps to deepen your sleep and help the body regerate is beneficial. Since you are suffering with AF a couple of other things that helped me get through it were liquid calcium magnesium to calm the nerves and help sleep, valerian root caps to take the edge off anxiety/stress, and melatonin for deeper sleep.
