This is what I just made, my first ( maybe only) meal, mid-afternoon, and it's delicious! You can check the breakdown of nutrients and good things--it's a powerhouse of good you can feel.
Start with a base of dryish *leftover cooked millet. (*To this we had some green sauce, a kind of kale pesto, and broccoli)
Add coconut cream, or milk. A few cut up dried apricots (or fresh)and medjool dates. An apple cut in small pieces. I like Gala, currently. And add a small handful of flax seeds. (or substitute hemp seeds)
Add a bit of hot water to the bottom of a jar of raw honey (well, that's what I did)to dissolve the last tsp. of honey and pour overtop to further moisten. Stir all together.
No spice needed. A dusting of nutmeg might not hurt.
I can see this as a brunch bowl for guests. My advice though is to keep it simple. It's easy to go overboard. This is just so good.Oh, I forgot: a large spoonful of walnut pieces: brain food.
One over-the-top thing I might do some day is add a little hot sauce. :-) I've been eating a lot of raw jalapenos lately, and serendipitously find that a little hot mixed with fruit can be sublime.
