Re: My Iodine links....especially good for newbies
I should add I suppose that I have been taking
Iodine on my skin and then orally for about 9 days. I am a 63yo serious runner (50k plus per week) and went to an alternative medicine doctor who has done some bloodwork, with some further tests pending, for what might be described as
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome or adrenal exhaustion.
This could have come about by serious, recurrent asthmatic/bronchial coughing and infection.
I did commence some serious vitamin etc taking some weeks ago, but anyway, the first round of bloodtests indicated nothing more than a low free testosterone level.
I started taking testosterone supplementation followed about six days later, on the Thursday, by starting on d-ribose (after reading tietalbaum
http://www.endfatigue.com)
and
Iodine (suggested by the doctor).
Not sure if it was just coincidence but that weekend 09/24-25/2011 my health literally just snapped into positive territory.
I ran a Saturday 10k in my best for six years. Sunday was a good run too as I recovered well and Wednesday, the next effort run was 5 mins faster than a typical Wednesday 10k.
As I said it could be coincidence but d-ribose and
Iodine are continuing to be part of my supplements.
And thanks for the links couger!!!
