Re: Just me venting, need someone to pick me up.

I agree with pilare that the lump needs to be examined by a doctor first. It isn't necessarily cancerous. I've had a painful lump which a doctor told me was a cyst. Actually, it only bothered me when I was having a yeast reaction.

I wouldn't get too hung up on trying to parse the meaning of the test. The tests are frequently of questionable accuracy anyway. You have silver fillings and you have at least some of the frequently described symptoms of heavy metal toxicity. You could go online and compare your symptoms to other commonly described symptoms of chronic heavy metal toxicity (keeping in mind that the symptoms vary a lot from person to person).

Getting rid of mercury is a 2 step process:

Step 1: Replace your silver fillings. They are 40-60% mercury and the stuff is constantly flaking off into your body. Mercury-free dentists are the best, but it depends on your situation. I would go to a dentist who agrees the silver fillings are dangerous and will take steps to protect you against mercury during replacement.

What you replace the fillings with is up to you. It depends on your budget. I'm partial to ceramic fillings, but they're expensive. Some people worry about a possibly unhealthy chemical in resin fillings, but they are cheaper and almost anything is better than mercury.

Unfortunately, some people feel they can stop at step 1, but step 2 is as vital as 1. The mercury is stuck in your body and will stay there, making you sick, until you remove it.

Step 2: Chelate.

Some people prefer IV chelating. This usually uses a supplement called DMPS and would require a doctor's assistance.

There are many different methods of oral chelation and there are people who have used each successfully. There are some (I think a small number) who have reacted badly to one or another chelator. The best way to chelate orally is by taking frequent doses of a chelator (usually every 3 or 4 hours). Common chelators include oral DMPS, DMSA, ALA, cilantro and chlorella.

I can't tell you much about DMPS since it's not available where I live.

The Cutler Protocol is a popular chelating method. It uses DMSA and ALA or just ALA by itself. This method is slower than some others but has fewer side effects for most people. Note that you need to wait 3 months or so after replacement before you begin using ALA.

Note that cilantro should be used with chlorella. It won't be effective without the help. There are a lot of side effects with this method and some people question its safety, but I've been using it for some months now, and I have seen tremendous improvement without serious problems.

A lucky few feel better immediately upon filling replacement. Chelating the mercury out can take months or years. It took me 6 months before I felt improvement. I've been chelating for about 4 years now. My health has improved tremendously.

I recommend you find out more about each chelator and method. Don't chelate until you replace your fillings (it can make you very sick to chelate with fillings still in). I would also make sure you know what you're doing before you begin any chelation method. Chelation has risks and knowledge can help you avoid those risks.

Sorry to give you so much information in this post. I definitely think chelating would be helpful for you.
