Subclinical hypoglycemia without diabetes?

Read Dr. Lam's page regarding the relation AF and hypolgecemia. Are major symptoms such as coma, seizures, etc. even possible for those who are not medically hypoglycemic (such as myself) but are only sub-clinically? I am not diabetic. If I am ever caught in situations where I can't eat, I definitely feel symptomatic, but I kinda figured that is where it would stop since the times I have checked my blood glucose levels they were always normal despite symptoms - hence the subclinical tag.
