Re: Parathyroid disease with normal calcium levels
I have read that if one has the tumor they are more likely to have other gladular problems I have long thought i had adrenal problems, have a multinodular goiter and diabetes.
I just found out this week that my parathyroid is in the low 100s and my calcium one was 10.0 and one 10,1 I know I have this as I have 19 of 21 symptoms and have had them and suffered for decades.
I wrote it all up in posts above this if you want to know more. This is all new to me as of this week and I am already frustrated.
I cannot believe that one girl went to 15 doctors with no help and they would not want to take out a tumor they saw on a scan
That is the man I only wish I could see. He is the inventor of the minimally invasive surgery for this as I am sure you know.
Why did you not get it removed? It seems he generally is right and you are in that group like me that is hard to diagnose.
I would think if you have a lot of symptoms and saw a tumor on the scan that should be enough to suggest you need this removed, Is it the insurance does not pay for him to do it and the local ones wont..wow that would so suck.
I know it is thousands of dollars if insurance will not pay. I felt like thank God I finally have the answer but at the same time I feel no doctor will ever listen and I cannot afford to go to Florida.
Are you still on here. I could use someone in the same boat to guide or help me with this as it already feels overwhelming..how rare is this condition,,it is bad enough to have it but to be in the group everyone misdiagnoses and does not understand is even mroe frustrating, I don't want to get worst as I already feel I am in hell for decades
To be so close and then no one listens or gets it is hard. Like so close to the ring but just can't quite reach it
