Let's see....

1- tendonitis (wrists)
2- headaches
3- occasional nausea
4- dizziness/vertigo

(These first 4 symptoms appeared soon after having the IUD placed, and continued until after having it out, although the tendonitis improved right away after removal)

These following symptoms mostly appeared during my "crisis", a period of 2 months before I had it out, when I thought I was dying. I don't know why things suddenly became so bad at one time, except that strep might have triggered it. I still have most of these symptoms, not at the same time necessarily, and most of them are better than they were before the IUD was out.

5- spacey head feeling - a rushing feeling in my head
6- distorted vision (not blurry as much as a feeling like I'm looking through someone else's glasses, or my contact prescription is off
7- muscle twitching, especially my eye, lip, but also other areas of my body, like my legs after I exercise more than usual
8- buzzing/vibration in parts of my body, usually my feet
9- general muscle weakness (this is scary for me) all over, but distinctly worse on my right side)
10- occasional pain in my gallbladder/right kidney area
11- fibrocystic breasts, confirmed by recent MRI
12- SHAKINESS. I have visible tremors in my hands when I use them, but I also feel a general shakiness and lack of coordination when I use my limbs, or even my torso (like when I'm grabbing wet clothes from my clothes washer and bending down to toss them in the dryer). I find that I use more concentration when making simple movements (like getting a glass from the cupboard, pouring water in it, and drinking from it) to make sure the movements are correct, if that makes sense. It's easy for me to spill, drop things, or bang a glass into my mouth as I'm drinking.
13- heavy heartbeat, not fast, but it shakes my body, especially during anxiety
14- sleeping trouble, often with nightmares and adrenalin rushes in the middle of sleep
15- breathing weakness as I fall asleep, like I forget to breathe as I'm dropping off to sleep, and then am jerked awake with a racing heart and being out of breath. This can go on every 5 minutes or so for hours!!!!
16- tingling, especially in my face and lip and my right outer ear, at the top of it. Sometimes in my hands and toes. This has mostly gone away. Was a big problem for the first several months.
17- recurrent strep infections and then an allergic reaction to penicillin. This happened a few months before IUD removal, and I can say than it seemed to start the serious downward spiral of my health, and brought on the new symptoms I've listed.
18- hair loss!!!!! I'm entering stage 2 loss. Getting ready to invest in a 6 month supply of Bosley products.
19- strange fingernails - vertical splitting along vertical ridges, sometimes waviness in the nail.
20 - erythromelalgia (flushing disorder) that has plagued me multiple times a day for a year and a half - it has finally almost gone away since June and I hope it doesn't come back!!!! I had lesions on my feet and fingers from it.
21- lab work normal except for ANAs, but in the lowest titer, which suggest an autoimmune reaction, but not heavy enough for a diagnosis.
22- occasional speech slurring/difficulty when I get cold or have very intense emotions. Weird
23- achy flu/malaise feeling with occasional low fever that comes and goes. Lousy.
24- Occasional high fevers that resolve after a couple days with few other symptoms.
25- slowing metabolism. Weight gain was never an issue for me. I've been normal weight my whole life. But as of the last several months, I'm putting on weight, slowly but surely. But I also just turned 40...
26- anxiety, but no panic attacks
27- strange pains in muscles that come and go, not severe
28- fatigue, worse at the beginning
29- night sweats, only before IUD removal and right after. Gone now.
30- "chills" that pour over my scalp and down my back, like I'm scared. This was much worse at the beginning.
31- easily startled
32- my period is much lighter and only lasts about 4 days

However, my adult Acne has pretty much gone now, after many decades. This is a good thing :) But I'd take it back if I could have more hair.

I might think of more, but I've tried to be thorough. I am about 22 months post.
