Re: Fasting blood pressure,Food after the fast

It is your Mothers resting and early morning BP which is the important and most accurate reading of all. Just to make sure I would take this on consecutive mornings just to make sure.

Undoubtedly, it is the suspense TV serials that are causing this rise, and where emotions play a huge part in this increase. H M Shelton advised against emotional involvement such as this while fasting and discouraged it if not not banned it altogether in his health retreat.

Drinking juices for one week is unecessary and where you could have started on more solid foods sooner. By solid foods I mean those of a high water content such as fruits. Dried foods can be eaten now and so can soups as long as they are fresh for max' nutrition.

The only foods to avoid at the moment are concentrated foods such as meats/hard cheeses, until your digestion has fully recovered and your appetite is back to normal.
Listening to your body and its signals is the best way forward.
What doubts do you have and about what exactly?
Chrisb1.
