In the study at the end of my post, it says "Candida albicans escapes from the bloodstream by invading the endothelial cell lining of the vasculature" (vasculature means your veins) in a process called endocytosis. I wonder if endocytsosis is also how Candida burrows into your gut lining...
Anyway, I’m thinking, endocytosis in general is a bad thing. Later on this page it says Genistein “significantly reduced endocytosis of C. albicans”.
Genistein can be bought in capsules at various health food stores and websites, for example there’s one made by Source Naturals, and there are other common brands.
So, I wonder if taking Genistein would help us prevent candida from wandering around our bodies, as we do other things to try to kill it off?
