People were warned about the World Trade Center But no one listened

I don't know what you did today 9/11, but I spent the evening visiting a friend. She is one of the best people I know in the world and we separated and broke our friendship about a year ago. It all happened over something stupid now I look back, but each one of us were stubborn.

It was a year ago or almost a year I should say. Then on the 1st day of Ramadan she called me. She wanted to make amends for what she had done. I just laughed, as I never hold grudges. I had sent her a message when all this happened and told her I loved her and wished her well.

Why do people have to hurt others? I moved on and never really thought of the tiff much and just dealt with the pain of someone hurting me AGAIN!

The two weeks in to Ramadan I got an eery feeling and I called her. I called 4 times in fact and no one answered. I went to her home as I was in the area and no one answered the door.

That night I called again and her daughter answered. My friend, had a massive stroke and was in the hospital waiting to die. Her brain was bleeding profusely and the doctors were trying to get it to stop. She then went into a comma.

I know everyone was praying for her, as she has many friends and a large family. I knew if anyone could survive, it would be my friend and survive she did, but at what cost?

My friend came home from the hospital yesterday, awaken from her coma. The hospitals here routinely patch them up and send them home for the family to care for them. She cannot use her right side or walk. She is extremely incoherent and babbles a lot. I was shocked, but her whole body is very cold. I remember when my cats died, they always got very cold first and lose most of their body temperature.

She was in a huge amount of pain. I asked about her sleeping in her bed, but she refused because she would get very dizzy if she lied down. She had a urine bag attached to her side, as she could no longer use the bathroom.

Her daughters took her to have a shower, as she was in horrible pain. I thought to my self that she is lucky to have a family to care for her. I live alone and if this happened to me, not sure where I would be.

My friend was always going to the hospital and getting another bag of medicine. She was big on pharmaceutical medicine. We tried several times to get her to live naturally and warned her severely, but she would not listen. All our warnings went unheeded.

I went there to pray on her, but I was so shocked by her condition I was numb.

Then when I was working on Twitter today I saw an article about how people were warned about 9/11 a year in advance. Nobody listened then either. Would the world be different if people had listened to warnings or would they have happened anyway due to destiny?

Muslims are big on destiny you know.
