Re: Best Liver & Kindey Cleanse/Flush Routine - Recommendations appreciated!
Congratulations on taking charge of your health! It looks like off to a great start already!
Liver Cleansing will be an excellent thing for you to do to further improve your health. I personally think that the best way to cleanse the liver is by following Andreas' advice. Andreas has a forum here on curezone. You should read as much of the old posts as you can. I have read a lot of different opinions on how to cleanse the liver and his seems the most effective when it comes to getting results and preventing problems. What he has you do is prepare for the flush by drinking apple juice or taking malic acid for 6 days. Then you do a
colonic or colema on the day of the flush and another 2 to 3 days after. The
colonic is used to prevent any stones from getting trapped in the colon which can cause worse problems than having them in the liver. He also points out that you should be doing it only once every 3 to 4 weeks. Some people say you can do it after 2 weeks but I agree with Andreas that this is too often and you need to give your body sufficient rest and allow it to adjust itself before cleansing again. I would recommend his book The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Cleanse. It is an excellent book that explains how most illnesses are caused by stones in the liver and gallbladder and can be cured by cleansing all of them out. The book also has some very important information that should be read before attempting the flush to prevent any problems from occuring, as well as excellent advice on how to prevent them from forming again. There is also an excellent liver tea recipe and ideas on how to strengthen the liver. Andreas is a very spiritual man and I think you'll like his ideas very much. He also explains the wonderful effects that a clean liver can have on your spiritual health. Just wanted to point out one thing, having tests from doctors come out normal doesn't always mean that your okay. I'm suffering from diabetes and severe chronic fatigue and my doctors still insist that besides my diabetes I'm perfectly fine given my excellent test results. It took going to a naturopath to have them diagnose me as being anemic and having hypothyroidism as well as being very high in lead and mercury. I am now taking steps to correct these problems and am feeling better and better. I don't mean to scare you or try to convince you your doing bad but it's best not to put too much faith in doctors when it comes to your health. It's usually after your really sick and have developed a disease that they tell you somethings wrong, then they try and give you drugs. If your really interseted in learning about your state of health and what you can do to improve your specific condition, a naturopath would be the person to see. Congratulations again on getting healthy and good luck with your new career. I think being an alternative medicine nurse is a fabulous thing to do.
