Re: oil pulling with drug eluting stents in heart arteries and heart meds.
Oil pulling isn't known to be chelation - pulling toxins out of the body (which pharmaceuticals certainly are). The fat in oil DOES attract bacteria out of the mouth and gums which as stated earlier is a direct path to the heart and arteries.
So I wouldn't worry about it.
You can't really call a diet a hybrid of two diets if one of the diets negates the other. After too many years of business travel I had a small stroke maybe 5 years ago. My doctor put me on 7 different medications to address (not cure) bloodpressure, cholesterol, hardening arteries and very low liver function. Ironic since ALL pharmaceuticals negatively impact the liver.
I felt horrible on this stuff and knew I wouldn't survive a year. Instead I decided to stop eating meat, smoking, drinking, eating refined
Sugar and gradually got into a better diet and exercise. My doctor told me my improvement was "miraculous".
I friend who was an MD of Internal Medicine (but also worked for awhile at a natural health resort) told me that there's no doubt that a vegetarian diet reduces your exposure to stroke and heart attack. He wasn't at all surprised by my results.
Sorry, I don't mean to be arguing, just that I've been through it and the first thing I'd do again with clogged arteries, heart issues etc is go to plant based vegetarian diet. Doesn't have to be forever, just until the health issues are solved. And I'd be
juicing like a madman.
Just my 2C - thanks for tolerating...
