how long does it take to work?
I spoke with a patient of an NAET practitioner who I contacted to treat my 4 yr old for asthma and her testimony and the research I had done was amazing, so i decided to go ahead, although skeptical. this particular practioner give 1/2 off for family members who got the same time as the main person receiving treatment, so i thought i'd go for hayfever and have my son go who is having hyperactivity, impulsive behaviors. i'm hoping i haven't jumped in too quickly and am really wondering if it's gonna work. my 4 yr old has been for about 9 treatments, 6 of them the basics. the practioner said the results would most likely be slow, so it might not be easy for me to notice; she says she notices a gradual difference in her office, but i really don't notice a change at home or in school. it's hard cuz my 4 yo has only had a handful of asthma attacks his whole little life, but the ones he's had have been life-threatening. i've put a lot of faith into NAET and am not following the doc's suggestions of daily meds.
the practioner is certified and is also a nurse. she says that if we stick it out for 25 sessions and don't see improvement she will give my money back. i'm thinking of stopping going for myself until i see results with my boys. i don't know how long i will go with them before i give up. it seems that it wouldn't make sense to stop, yet, cuz i know we have to at least go through the basic 15 treatments. most practioners, including her, seemed to think he'd most likely be cured within the first 15 treatmetns, but since he may be on the autism spectrum (we need to get him tested), it will most likely take much longer, like over 50! he is an allergic little guy. i have blood work and patch tests so that i can see any changes if i retest, but i don't see why i'd retest unless i saw obvious visual results, first. he still has a stuffy nose each day, still zones out... the other is just as hyper and impulsive... he's only been for about 6-7 treatments, but even at $25/pop for my 2d son and $25 a pop for me, it adds up as i've been going at least once a week. $50 for the primary patient.
so, any info as to when i may start to see results woudl be great! i read that some people have gone for over 100 treatments with no change? disheartening. before getting on this website, when i was researching NAET, i couldn't find ONE bad review about NAET from someone who had actually beeen treated. now, that we're this far in, (at least $600/$700) and time invested... it's sad to hear the bad reviews. i'm still trying to hang on to hope and the good testimonies.
thx so much!
