Well day 108 and it's time to come back to the world of solid foods . Breaking a fast/feat gently is very important to get digestion of solids back on track. Did some prunes to help get the engines started day before yesterday and yesterday started with a fruits smoothie with apple juice bananas, strawberries and blueberries. I also add goat milk kefir to help replenish the beneficial flora in the GI tract Today I started my day with the same smoothie but by mid afternoon was craving something more solid and made one of my fave raw cold soups with avocado and cucumber, Cucado.
Cucado
1 1/2 cucumbers peeled and seeds scraped out
1 Hass Avodado
1/4 tsp + Dill (dried) I'll hafta get some fresh next market trip
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 +/- tsp Celtic sea salt
Juice of one lime
Put it all cept 1/2 cuke in blender and blend till creamy smooth then add the 1/2 cuke and just pulse the blender/food processor a few times so you have some nice little chunk of cucumbers. Garnish with chopped vine ripe t'maters and chopped cilantro. Pure heaven in a bowl ;+D
