I respect that you are standing up for your convictions just as I am. I feel lead by God to write and talk about the good news that God is a loving and available God who is still working miracles today. I read a good portion of the article which I found to have nothing accurate in its criticisms. I am taking some time with God to ask him to work through me what he would like for this exchange and then I will reply more fully. No Man does any works. God does all good things.
One question:

Do you believe what the article you sent states, that the gifts of the spirit are not active today? That these gifts were only for the new testament times. Could you give any biblical reference to indicate why you agree if you do agree. Thank you in advance for all your kindness and restraint in our exchange. I want this to be honest and real but not insulting in anyway. I hope we can both learn and grow through this.
