I was an American child - given way too much ABx -
30 rounds before I was 18 years old (24 of them between 14-16 years of age) and 20+ more by 2004. All this for chronic respiratory difficulties (allergies/asthma that would spiral into 35 trips to the hospital, and inhalation therapy, endless rounds of inhalers, nebulizers, steroids.........

I have been trying to recover for the last 6 years. Do the math and you can only imagine the shape I was in by the time I first posted on these forums. THEY will never touch me again...and EVERYTHING I have found here - all of the thousands of files I have read, every post, every thread, every right thing, every wrong one, all the endless controversy - has saved my life. I have learned an incredible amount, and mostly that - my doctor (and ALL connected to him) was not my friend. And they just don't know any better, right?

I tend sometimes to ask questions that may seem simplistic, but want to avoid the many possible pitfalls now that I have enjoyed living and not dying - want to not undo all my hard work.

This single issue - ANTIBIOTICS - is of utmost imporatnce to me - a baby denied her mother's breast, allergic to 50's formulas and mucked up from the gate...not blaming mom, just sayin'- it's my situation, or WAS - no longer do I struggle for my breath, no longer do I wheeze, no more inhalers, and the horrific Albuteral treatments - I don't cough, at all.

What I do have, however, and really all that's left requiring ongoing attention(and oh yes the little parasite problem) is the NeVeR-EndINGGGGG scalp itch, which could possibly be eradicated quickly, temporarily(as it is being pushed deepr into my body) with yet ANOTHER round of ABx and... I won't do it! Call me crazy, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the next ANTIBIOTIIC just might finally kill me...and it would make THEM so happy, as another one bites the dust - so that's why not. They will have to figure out another way to do me in, and yes I know they are working on it as I speak, nonetheless I seek.........
