Iodine is a great antibiotic, but there are limitations with lyme, as it tends to burrow it's way into the stomach lining and hide. But on the other hand, who cares as long as it stays hidden, as when it sticks it's head up, Iodine will get it. I have a distance relative in New Jersey, who is taking 200mgs daily of lugol's, not a problem with lyme since beginning. However I highly suspect if she quits iodine, it may surface again. But why would anyone quit iodine, unless they are suicidal. david lubbock tx.
