Those measurements will work, however keep in mind that chemistry works better when exact measurements are used and kitchen scales and postal scales are available for under $10.

Try it and see what happens. If you are pleased with the results then everything worked out fine. If you don't get the results you were hoping for, perhaps it is time to save up and invest in some measuring equipment.
