I have reached day 4. Yesterday I had a meeting at a restaurant and on my way there I was not sure whether I would still be fasting by the time I walked out of there. I ordered mint tea -two pots to be precise- and watched my meeting partners eat their food. It was funny- I was more tempted to eat on my way there without the food in front of me, than I was once there and the food actually was in front of me. Alas, I AM STILL FASTING-YIPPEE. It was actually an important strengthener for my will but I would recommend most people to do this sort of experiment little further down the fast and not in the first couple of days when your body is still craving food somewhere inside.
I was able to get out of bed earlier today than I have been over the past several days and my mind is a little clearer. Hoping for lot more clarity down the road here. Clothes are fitting little better and my skin is also looking smoother. Tonight I'll do my first weigh-in since I started and lets see what the pounds say...
