Urinary problems at night in bed -- Prostate?

Hi,
My problem is in the middle of the night, I have a lot of pain in groin area with a need to urinate. After I urinate, I usually feel better, but not always. At times the pain is intense, and it takes a lot of doing on my part to get back to sleep. This happens about 3 times per night. It is usually worse if I eat candida-loving stuff, but it still occurs (less) when I behave myself and eat good things. I also feel a lot of shakiness in the groin area...feels like my anus never "closes". I wonder if this might be prostatitis? Anyone else ever have this problem. Every holistic and western practitioner is puzzled by this...have had a Cystoscopy to no avail.
