Hypersomnia

I would like to share the things that have helped me some.
This last year I was diagnosed with many illnesses after quitting smoking for 35 years. Sleep apnea, Copd, Hypothyroid, type II disabetes and Hypersomnia..
Brainfog. memory going and fatigue.
Now as if that isn't enough to deal with here comes RA...
Arthritis in most of my joints and bones.
Neck, back, feet and Hands.
Well, I was not well at all.
I felt like I just woke from the dead. I really thought about dying and often. I was a mess
I don't trust drugs much so I have sought to find alternatives to Chems.
First up Thyroid meds.. After reading here I found a Endo who would put me on Armour Thyroid, granulated Pig thyroid with the 4 similar hormones..
some say they don't work after changing the formula.
It's only the new fillers that make digesting difficult.
Problem solved. Take first thing in the morn and wait about an hour til you eat anything. My levels are normal with one pill a day.
Next was my diabetes. No more pills for that.
I take Natural Cinamon Extract when I eat things I shouldn't. Watch my levels regularly for a while and reduced the blood test after getting used to me system.
I do check it holidays when I indulge a little or just go for a quick walk. Sometime pacing through my house a few times is good enough. Vitacost.com has Cinnamon Extract for just over $4 a bottle. I stocked up. I got several people using this stuff. It works. 1 pills will drop my sugars about 35 pts. 2 for about 70 pts. Just perfect.
Still feel bad with the Hypersomnia.
the CPAP for apnea don't seem to help since I have hypersomnia. I hate CPAP but I stick with it so I wake up.
My son actually wants me around. :)

I Was placed on Nuvilgil.. Costly.
I'm poor and was unable to work a lot so I couldn't afford this. I felt so tired and was sleeping about 5 times a day. Doc said well we can give you Ritalin... Ding ding. What? With all those bad stories?
I had insomnia all my life. Now it has reversed.
It's a horrible condition.....
So after staying so tired I tried the Ritalin and bump it up a little. After reading that it helped many with sleep problems but they took 5 time as much as I was taking.
I went up to 10mg twice a day but needed 3 times a day.
It helped to stay awake.. I still felt very tired still.
I had taken an Adrenal Test. Thinking maybe those are off.
Doc said well it's low in Morn and a little low at Noon but high in the Eve so its' not that bad, I don't think that is a problem. Hmmmm.. I hoped this was cure to my problem.
After reading about Adrenals I read that Cortisol should be high in the Morn and at noon to get you going. I started taking my Kelp and orders Liquid Kelp suggested by a friend.
It seems my muscles are not as tired now and I'm not sure what is helping because I have found something to end my need for Ritalin which could have also helped my fatigue.

H2O2 35% food grade.
I no longer need Drugs to stay awake and I'm feeling better. No naps except after waking early to go fishing last week. rarely when I get still in the eve I may get somewhat sleeping. But it isn't bad and often goes away after I stand up a minute.
I've been Ritalin free for about 7 days and fortunately didn't take it but a month or so. I just got my first 10mg bottle and haven't took much at all.
H2o2 Hydogen Peroxide 35% Therapy
I started with the usual 2 drops per glass of water 3 times a day. After I got to somewhere around 8 drops a glass I thought about what may be changing if anything. Nothing really other than I was forgetting my Ritalin at Noon and not really very sleepy.
So I said to myself, self lets try NO Ritalin in the morn.
H2O2 is slow to work in the morn maybe takes an hour or so to get your awake if you don't get running.
So I no longer need anything. I am running out of H2o2.
And even reduced it to one dose in the morn for the last few days to conserve it til I get more. I'm just fine with one Glass of 15 drops in the morn. Still no naps in the eve,
I know of a elderly Lady who swears
H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) is the best thing she ever found to revitalize her energy which was gone.

Miracle-Mineral-Supplement 2 which I took only for a few days.
It may have helped but I went for
H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) therapy instead for now.
My Endo promised to get me feeling better. Well it's nearly a year later and I had to do this for myself. His recipe has not helped and it left him stumped as to why I wasn't better. So throw Chems my way and hope I keep coming back.
He still doesn't know about the H2O2 and I just may forget about him. It's my money and I want it now!
I can go to the regular Doc for blood work to see if my levels are correct.
H2O2 has never made me sick at the stomach.,
I wait an hour after eating and try to wait at least one hour or longer before eating. There were few days where I may have been dropping Toxic waste from my system. But I was not sickly.
You must read up on H2O2 before giving it a go.

After almost 2 year of quitting smoking -- I'm a quitter for life. My COPD may be getting better from H2O2.
I held my breath under water this week for 45 seconds or so.
I counted to 51 but... probably fast. confirmed for 40 seconds. A year ago I could not hold my breathe for 20 seconds. I couldn't get my breath lying on my back in bed.
Now I can... I was up to 3 packs a day. Costly too.
Also I loved smoking. Love/hate relationship but to kick the habit I told myself all day long for a week how I despise smoking, I recounted every reason I could think of to despise them over and over.. without noticing my mind just began hating them and I quit with ease and the help of Nicorette which I reduced to one bottle instead of two by splitting them into quarter pieces and taking only when I had a strong urge. People that knew me thought I could never quit and I tried a few times. Once my subconscious or mind hated them it was all over. Never again. I hate them more than ever and any craving is weak. Thinking of anything else removes the thought of smoking instantly.
