Re: the clear ultrasound after few flushes should be the proof
Gallstones grow at a low rate of 1 mm to 2 mm per year.
There must be reason for the 3rd stones appearing:
1. There were always 3 stones but they only found two because the scan was difficult to read, maybe because cholesterol stones and biliary sludge was fogging the image. When I had my ultra-sound in was impossible to see if there was any stones or not.
2. One of the stones has slit in to two pieces.
3. A stone has arrived from somewhere else, perhaps the liver.
4. The ultra-sound machine although very dependable has a diagnostic reliability of about 80-90%. This varies depending on how modern the device is and other parameters.
5. There is great variation in the interpretation of the image by different ultra-soundest.
I don't think in any stretch of the imagination hat flushing will actually cause a sonic reflective stone to form.
