Well, I think that it was a combination of things.
I was ending a 7 year relationship and making a lot of huge changes in my life.
Stressful....but cathartic and ultimately positive.
I then started a new relationship with a really wonderful man who is now taking care of me as I heal.
But despite the good things in that it really challenged some deep deep issues I had and that was stressful as well.
My experience with AF has led me into a realm of deep emotional and energetic healing that is helping me to resolve stuff that I have not had the strength to address before.
So even though I was getting really good at energetic boundaries I was still "wounded" in other ways that needed attention.
I just think it's a matter of layers.
I wasn't ready to go there before but things came together in a perfect storm so to speak. And now circumstances have enabled me and even forced me to continue let go of some yucky mojo.
Lately, I feel happier and lighter than I have in years, despite the physical issues.
I was wracked with insecurity and anxiety when this all began for me.
It's very interesting to say the least.
That's why I feel that the true healing experience of AF is more energetic than anything. And the friends I know who have had to go through this and completely recovered have said the same thing.

It has been very transformative. I physically detoxed for 3 weeks after beginning the energetic healing exercises that it instructs.
