To me, some of the long pieces do look like roundworm pieces, and the long film like stuff looks like the same stuff I get out sometimes. I assumed it was a breakdown of the casing or biofilm I have heard hit called, and ascaris have three layers I guess.

I was fortunate (or unfortunate) to see a few of my worms in the very beginning that were pure white and must have been fresh kills, and they had a very distinct clear flat-ish casing surrounding them, though the worm itself inside was round. I get that same film, and pieces of it when I am having success killing worms. It's hard to describe, but it's like a film but stringy and clear. It stays in one piece if I move it around with a plastic fork. Tweet
